چکیده
Abstract Resistivity data acquisition using the two-dimensional (2D) resistivity method has been carried out at 8 locations in Kahayan Kuala area, Pulang Pisau District, Central Kalimantan. The aim of study was to identify distribution type and depth aquifer layers other geological materials subsurface based on their characteristics. results showed that values northern part area ranging from 13.28–282 2.09–88.37 ohm-meter, while southern part, 0.32–25.75 ohm-meter. At range 41.77–88.37 67.7–187.79 ohm-meter are peat mud layers, 25.35–88.37 55.29–282.28 sandstone 2.09–34.31 13.28–67.78 were clay sandy layers. 5.97–25.75 4.46 - 25.75 0.32–5.97 Sandstone interpreted as confined aquifers, unconfined non-aquifer or sealing survey 10–40 meter 20–50 meter.

Estimation of the Co2 Emission from the Peatland of Central Kalimantan Using the Palsar Interferometry
Emission of the CO2 from the Indonesian forest is mainly composed of the deforestation, forest degradation, and the peat land subsidence. Peat land subsidence of Indonesian islands represented by the Central Kalimantan is induced by the global warming and the resultant chemical processes at the peat land emit the CO2 to the air. The measurement of a relationship between the subsidence speed and...

Determination of soil moisture content is of vital importance to many fields of study; civil engineering, hydrology, agriculture, geology, ecology and forestry. The occurrence of impact crater in Bukit Bunuh, a meteorite impacted area, made it an area of great interest to many researchers. In view of the process of impact cratering, the subsurface soil characteristics such as moisture content o...
متن کاملGroundwater Exploration for Rural Water Supply in an Arid Region of Southern Argentina
Climate change has led to an increase in extreme weather events and desertification of vast areas of southern Argentina. Water shortages are a major concern, and this problem is expected to be exacerbated in the future. An exploration program was undertaken to investigate the groundwater occurrence in areas of the Chubut River basin in order to provide new supply options for pastoral farming. T...
متن کاملKarstic water exploration using the Schlumberger VES and dipole–dipole resistivity profiling surveys in the Tepal area, west of Shahrood, Iran
The need for clean groundwater resources to have sustainable development in a country is undoubted. Due to the importance and high quality of karstic waters in supplying water in Iran especially in Shahrood city, it is attempted in this research work to recognize and explore karstic waters in southwest of Tepal area, Shahrood. For this purpose, integration of the results obtained from the metho...
متن کاملEcosystem services from a degraded peatland of Central Kalimantan: implications for policy, planning, and management.
Increasingly, landscapes are managed for multiple objectives to balance social, economic, and environmental goals. The Ex-Mega Rice Project (EMRP) peatland in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia provides a timely example with globally significant development, carbon, and biodiversity concerns. To inform future policy, planning, and management in the EMRP, we quantified and mapped ecosystem service va...
